An abundance of folkloric, abstracted animal motifs, including charming horses, sheep and gazelles are drawn with a joyful freedom of line and scale. Profound asymmetry extends throughout its 19th century village carpet design, most notably in its entirely dissimilar, delightfully freeform diamond medallions.
