Presenting a new catalog to our ongoing and future clients is always a celebration for us.  It is an opportunity to demonstrate our passion for the best of antique rugs by sharing some favorites from our many new acquisitions.

Featuring 34 carpets in all, this issue suggests the tremendous breadth of selection we can offer.  It includes astonishing pieces from the early 19th to the turn of the 20th century – each a standout in its own style and era.  We hope you will relish viewing them as much as we have.

We continue to experience an unbroken increase in interest in our art-level antique carpets.  This is evidenced by the great reception our recently opened Hudson River Valley Collection has received by ongoing and new clients in this country, and also by savvy European collectors, who recognize what a treasure carpets of this level of artistry and rarity represent.

Art-level antique rugs exponentially enrich the home environment and are a superb depository of wealth.  As the growing scarcity of great rugs has accelerated tremendously during this decade, we feel so privileged that our ace buying team continues to unearth an ample supply.  I sincerely believe that carpets of this magnitude will not be available in the next generation at any price.
