This consummate quality, very early masterpiece carpet is a stellar representative of the acclaimed carpet designer, Hadji Jallili, of Tabriz. Extraordinarily tightly woven, its minute and precise detail work permits the pastoral design to achieve a sculpted effect. The beloved Hadji Jallili color palette is especially radiant here, with a shaded pomegranate base and a profusion of taupes, celadon and gold offset by the deepest midnight indigo blue. Offering a tremendous sense of movement and visual depth, this consummate quality antique carpet remains in unusually fine condition, especially considering it is over 150 years of age. Laver Kirman 'Tree of Life'
