Rare rugs

 Fine
antique carpets are considered by many to be investment-quality
antiques, and there is no better place to ogle rugs in the greater Bay
Area than those at the Claremont Rug Co. in Oakland.
Not
long ago, owner and founder Jan David Winitz, purchased a spectacular
group of 200 rugs to add to his amazing stock. Visiting this gallery is
akin to going to a museum. Everything on display is dazzling.
The
company Web site offers a wealth of information for collectors,
including valuable carpet-care tips. I've got this site bookmarked. If
