(Connoisseur-Caliber)
This unique antique Caucasian Kazak runner is a profound departure from the traditional medallion-based format more often seen in this much-loved antique tribal substyle. Its unusually narrow reserve brims with an array of lively, multi-colored geometric shrub motifs in orderly pairs. Its expansive palette presents a rainbow of diverse color tones, constantly changing as if the rug's master weaver seemingly decided to present every natural hue she knew how to dye. Outstanding, heavy pile condition intensifies this nearly 150-year-old folk art runner's tremendous impact. 19th century Kazak runners are very rarely seen longer than 10 feet.
