Twitter Instagram Facebook Pinterest(High-Decorative) This over century-old long rug is a proud member of the finely woven lowland Caucasian Shirvan subgroup; a stunning example of the great artistic sensitivity these tribal people possessed. A cornucopia of multi-colored blossoms, stars and other archetypal symbols adorn a deep midnight blue field. This activity is framed by an unusually large number of intricate alternating borders with incredibly vivid colors and motifs. Most astounding however is the size of the piece itself: where most known Shirvan carpets are small area sizes, this eye-dazzler is incredible at virtually 8ft x 14ft! Happily, it is in heavy pile condition, which gives one tremendous flexibility in its usage. (INQUIRE ABOUT THIS RUG AT CLAREMONT 2, 1-800-883-1815) Learn About This Rug Type
