Here a composition of six niched medallions, reminiscent of those from Fachralo Kazak or Akstafa, create a singular squarish rug of mesmerizing impact. Serrated motifs abound, capturing a fascinating electrical character that is amazingly creative. The single celadon medallion defies expectation, as does the large boteh (paisley-like) motif, borrowed from Marasali Shirvan prayer rugs at the very center of the rug.
