(Connoisseur-Caliber) An excellent representative of one of the most illustrious, highly sought after collectible antique Caucasian rug styles, this stunning Eagle Kazak is a very exciting acquisition (a style technically known by rug scholars as "Chelaberd Karabagh.") Consuming much of the field is a pair of overscale "Sunburst" medallions with a partial third medallion, all of which seemingly burst out of the confines of the rug’s field. Unusually deep emerald green and glistening camel highlight the medallions. This area size tribal antique rug’s deeply saturated colors showcase the natural luminosity of its wool and its great sharpness of lines attests to the great dexterity of its tool weavers.
