The Garrus design - a celestial garden motif upon which an arabesque vinery is overlaid - is rendered to perfection in this consummate quality piece. Against a midnight indigo base, the field effectively marries a diversity of robust and delicate elements. The more graphic designs and saturated colors of the field are adroitly reversed in the main border, with its realistically rendered rose flowers and pastel hues. The resulting balance is extremely enchanting.
