(High-Decorative)
("New Arrivals Gallery") This splendid Persian village runner offers an extravaganza of color only found in the very best examples of this style. Traditionally Karajas have two alternating medallions. Here, however, the variation includes four distinct medallion designs with secondary iterations beyond that. A masterful and delightful asymmetrical arrangement of tribal ornaments fills the ‘left over’ spaces raising the level of the entire composition. Saturated hues of salmon, saffron yellow, emerald green and azure blues are a special treat to the connoisseur of antique rugs. The extraordinary heavy full pile condition makes this runner not only more appealing to the eye, but also very practical for use for many decades.
