At least eight Trees of Life present abstract blossoms, like labarum bearing Calderesque mobiles on the march. The nighttime indigo ground perfectly amplifies the dazzling skill required to translate the plant-derived dyes into a ravishingly fluorescent palette, including a seldom-seen pistachio green, peach, fiery carnelian, and cerulean. Its wool is of excellent quality, providing a soft textural surface and deep absorption of the natural dyestuffs for lanolin-rich fibers to reflect light like gemstones. Surrounding this eye-catching assemblage is a graphic series of borders adorned with an ultra-abstract dragon motif paralleled by cubist vine meanders.
