(High-Decorative) ("New Arrivals Gallery") A field of flowers is transformed into an immediately appealing grand mosaic of exquisite geometry in this extraordinarily long camelhair Bijar runner. Eight-pointed 'Stars of Wisdom' twinkle against a gold and amber-orange ground, along with jewel-toned highlights of ivory, gold, emerald, azure blue, and cardinal reds. These stars are embedded in an elemental lattice-work, imagined to extend forever in all directions. Three dramatically contrasting running garland borders provide an artful frame. The very dense Bijar weave, along with its very good condition relative to its age and its effervescent character, ensures it will be a long-lasting and richly artistic embellishment for the home.
