Twitter Instagram Facebook Pinterest(Decorative) Known as the ‘Iron Rugs of Persia’, Bijars such as this area sized exemplar can withstand decades of foot traffic, as well as make an artfully formal statement in even the heaviest traffic areas of the home. The majestic central medallion is reminescent of stained glass, floating atop a rich burgundy reserve. The use of deepest midnight blue creates a dramatic tension which is amplified by the additional tones of gold, azure, bronze and sage greens throughout. The main border designs are rendered in a French-inspired guli farang or Foreign Fower’ design, with carefully rendered roses on a meandering vine.
