(Connoisseur-Caliber) Carefully balanced with an evocative, time-softened patina and resonant natural hues, this superb runner’s exceptionally elemental, spacious composition demonstrates a mature artistic sensitivity. Its exquisite abrash open reserve powerfully emboldens its captivating tribal motifs. The five hexagonal medallions each possess enigmatic, faceted botanical motifs. These creatively stylized designs fill each medallion with continual dramatic variations of line and hue, emphasizing the spontaneity of the runner’s weaver. Exceptionally dynamic abrash color striation imparts tremendous movement and depth to these spaces, as well as the resonant carnelian ground becoming a major secondary focus of composition. This runner's extremely good condition is another strongsuit.
