Its elegant medallion and almost lyrical drawing suggests curvilinear movement, adding great sophistication to this stunning room size piece. Its aged color is exquisite. Expert abash striation in this antique carpet's pomegranate red expanse imparts tremendous depth. In the corner pieces, exceptionally difficult-to-dye soft celadon magically transitions from dazzling blue in the bottom quadrants to delicate pale green hues at the top.
