Radiating an ingenious sense of proportions and folk art attitude through a combination of overscale and under scale designs with improvised asymmetries, a celadon inner medallion features a curious esoteric centerpiece enveloped by eight shimmering sapphire petals adorned with abstract botanical elements. Elegant headdress-like pendants jut out along the central axis, seeming to stretch the undyed ivory inner reserve. The outer sunset red enclosure is sparsely adorned, allowing the textures created by ultra-fine abrash color striations that become more in focus. Scintillating azure corner spandrels yields further compelling dramas and selective abrash mastery.
