(High-Collectible) Pictorial Tree of Life rugs from the esteemed Hadji Jallili (Haji Jalili) workshop are few and far between and quite prized. Using a wide-ranging palette of earth tones punctuated by saffron yellow and steely blue, it's master weavers spared no detail to create great texture and realism. Note the exquisitely shaded bark of the interlocking fruit trees and conifers, along with the elaborately ornamented vase and mounds at the foot of the field. Along with a graphic outlining rendered in rich walnut, a sense of the delicacy and fragility of nature is also present throughout. Close inspection reveals tiny, ghosted flowers throughout the field, while the tonal border reveals diminutive flowers and trees that further enhance this unforgettable carpet's idyllic atmosphere.
