Seldom seen, naturally derived hues include a profusion of ripe pomegranate, glistening saffron, tangerine, and a scintillating range of consummately dyed blues; all still gleaming after some 170 years in this rare gem of a rug. A profoundly collectible piece, it demonstrates an unabashed expressiveness that carries into the borders.
