Within a reserve that seamlessly blends with surrounding pastel periwinkle spaces, an elliptical transparent shape formed by connected, floating lobes occupies the central axis, which is finished top and bottom with diminutive pendants. Peach quarter medallions appear in the spandrels intimating a continuing medallion theme beyond the border. Drawn with the Mohtasham style’s renowned delicacy, effusive ornamental foliage fills remaining spaces and the wonderfully freeform border sensitively evokes the charming allure of nature.
