Presented on an unexpected luminous golden yellow ground that was likely yielded from precious saffron dye, sharply rendered fanciful botanical forms extend in all directions. Its distinctive border, filled with ethereal rose and celadon accents, brilliantly balances the intensity of the field.At 150 years of age,its condition is superb with heavier pile overall.
