(High-Collectible) ("The California Collection") As is the towering standard of The Great Lake Collection rugs, this is a mesmerizing piece in remarkable condition, in this case at a very substantial 160 to 170 years old. Its striated powder and sky blues are absolutely radiant with its unique amber perfectly grounding. Its unusually spacious, multi-scaled evokes the mountains and sky that surrounded the rugmakers as they wove on a towering vertical loom for a year or more. Like the lion's share of the Collection, this singular piece remains in fabulous condition.
