Twitter Facebook Pinterest(Connoisseur-Caliber) From the famous workshops renowned for the wealth of inspired patterns they generated, this fabulously conceived carpet is the inheritor of the centuries-long influences and outlier city traditions of Tabriz combined with the revolutionary design sensibilities of Hadji Jallili. At its center, an ivory ground lobed medallion rests with its crown-like pendants on a luminous burnt copper reserve of similar shape. The primary visual paradigm is the beloved Herati pattern rendered in a beautifully proportioned scale with a Baroque flourish. As the pattern transitions from one zone the next, the motifs are not cut off but are continued, changing color to match the new background. Fan palmettes and flower heads are harmonious on a latticework of vinery where curving feathery leaves can be compared to koi fish circling in a placid pool. Autumn sunset hues dominate the palette, while soothing shades of sky blue make a pattern all their own. Due to its fantastic condition, this carpet is equally qualified to become part of a sophisticated furnished space or hold its own in an empty room.
