West Central Persian Antique Rug

(High-Decorative) This refreshingly casual area-size rug in an extraordinarily seldom-encountered virtually square dimensions offers a subtly “abrashed” (intentionally color striated) soft salmon field on which rests a unique central vertical linking of broad gold ochre keyhole designs. Within and around these are minuscule blossoms, rosettes and palmettes. To either side are sparse geometricized vines adorned with rosettes. The exquisitely “abrashed” royal blue main border, which changes to cerulean at the ends, features a meandering angular vine adorned with rosettes, each one crowned with a wreath.
