Fabulously detailed floral sprays, some supporting songbirds, are delicately arranged in a spacious layout around the central theme. The deep royal blue ground supports an extensive palette of scarlet red, emerald green, amber-orange, dusty rose, burnished gold, brilliant azure blue, and ivory highlights. Dabir Kashan was one of the most prestigious weaving ateliers in Kashan from the mid-19th to the early 20th centuries, making their weavings much sought after by connoisseurs.
