In this warm and graceful antique Persian city carpet, a seldom-found rich naturally dyed apricot field glows behind the clearly drawn floral motif. Its The elegant, exquisite decorative style of Tabriz is well represented in this highly sophisticated. Connected to its majestic center medallion are eight swirling botehs (paisley-like motifs) that protrude into its otherwise unadorned field. Unusually large spandrels contain additional botehs and echo the motifs and colors of the centerpiece. Its complex border pattern further attests to the great dexterity of its weavers, and its 7ft x 9ft size is extremely seldom found.
