(High-Decorative) The exquisitely understated field of this rare, earth-toned, antique Persian Tabriz is magnificently framed by a most appealing, over-scale Herati main border. Breaking with tradition, this weaver omitted inner secondary borders and used them only on the outside. This has the effect of drawing the eye more towards the center. Darker brown contrasts further energize this richly artistic rug.
