The elegant contours that surround a shimmering, one-of-a-kind elliptical medallion make this late 19th century Persian Laver Kirman carpet the perfect centerpiece for a traditional European decor or an eclectic accompaniment to a modern decor. Its profusion of time-matured, naturally dyed leaf green, celadon and olive is very seldom encountered in antique Oriental art carpets. The great clarity with which its pattern is drawn makes each frond and flower distinctly visible. Like the lion's share of our late 19th century carpets, its extremely good condition is another happy surprise.
