We have not experienced such a fine example of the seldom-seen Guli Farang ("Foreign Flower") design, or such a beautiful one, since that time. In it, a sumptuous midnight indigo field offers luxurious, exquisite underlayment to its painstakingly rendered field that boasts a finely detailed repeating cabbage flower pattern arranged within a delicate vinery formed latticework. This rug excels in its extraordinarily fine craftsmanship, absolutely exquisite dye work and happily in its heavy pile condition which combine to make it a true standout piece.
