Bakhtiari rugs woven before 1930 are renowned for their extremely durable wool and luminous color derived from natural dyestuffs. The design is punctuated with striking color tones, such as dusky rose, emerald green, aqua and sapphire, adding even greater visual interest to this highly animated carpet. Happily, as well as being a fascinating decorative composition, it is in excellent, heavier pile condition.
