(Connoisseur-Caliber) (“Fall/Winter New Arrivals Event“) Although very small this very dramatic Karagashli is potent in its composition. We can’t remember the last time we saw a Kuba in this renowned style with only two of the characteristic slanting palmettes. Usually there are three or six or even eight. Here these highly geometricized flowers are a very appealing intense crimson red. Snowflake-like ivory blossoms flank the central figures and are luminous against the deepest indigo ground. The seldom-seen and particularly rich shade of golden camel of the main border completes the color palette. The use of space is breathtaking while the sparingly placed tiny tribal motifs ornamenting the field add an irresistible charm. Learn About This Rug Type
