(High-Collectible) ("New Arrivals Gallery")An incredibly fine, strikingly beautiful very early piece, this Seichur Kuba's field offers especially spacious and inventively colored tilting flowerheads, articulated by dexterous shadings. The irregular, faint latticework behind the floral display is part of this pattern’s traditional format, but here is effectively presented in dark blue on a glowing robin’s egg blue field. Later rugs switched the coloration to a dark blue field with light blue lattice that was not close in delicacy to this rug’s layered presentation. Also don't miss the crisply detailed border suite with the center frame revealing a splendid rendition of the repeating "Ocean Wave" motif, and two signature “Seichur red” secondary frames filled with the almond blossom meander. This High-Collectible small rug would be a precious piece of antique rug art for wall or floor display as well as an impactful addition to a private collection. Learn About This Rug Type
