(High-Decorative) ("New Arrivals Gallery")One of the most beloved motifs of Caucasian weaving is the 8-pointed Lesghi Star (separated by extra niches holding arrows). Weavers throughout the Caucasus chose to portray this fetching symbol, here appearing six times and surrounded by a garland of alternating shrub designs and an ivory border filled with bird and horse motifs. The winsome, overall effect of this lively little rug is deepened by a striking palette of rich shades and delicate accents as well as the generous appearance of a rare rose taupe that adds much interest to the rug’s enjoyment. Further appeal of this endearing Caucasian gem lies in its wonderful condition, affording the opportunity to display it in any space, regardless of the amount of traffic. Learn About This Rug Type
