Its extremely dexterous weaver brilliantly expresses herself through deeply personal, one-of-a-kind, deconstructed reinterpretations of classical Bidjov dragon and sunburst motifs. Three riders mounted on stallions, likely representative of actual people and animals known to the weaver, are prominently displayed in its center field. A series of elemental winged devices alternating with serrated edged palmettes ascends the cobalt blue field along the central vertical axis. Secondary motifs, including S’s (the Zoroastrian sun symbol), are scattered about. Greatly enhancing its highly sensitive artistry are its four dissimilarly patterned, yet entirely harmonious, borders.
