Its percipient weaver composed an inherently cohesive symphony of exotic 19th-century color, utilizing shades of heirloom ruby red, cerulean, rose gold, peacock, jade, and whispers of virtually never encountered lavenders. Also of note in this piece is the unusual main border, which is most often depicted as a Kufic design. This exquisite piece is in wonderful heavier pile condition at the substantial age of over one-and-one-half-centuries old.
