("New Arrivals Gallery") This is a mind-boggling, extraordinarily finely woven example of Mohtasham mastery at its most inspired. It boasts a glistening lamb's wool surface and astoundingly varied palette that resplendently reinvents chromatic possibility. The faceted medallion suite is a delicate apricot-hued centerpiece resting on a lambent sapphire surround. Heraldic pendants sweep into the irrepressible blossoms of the sublimely shaded celadon reserve. In the spandrels, ribbony arabesque vinery swirls, shifting color from ivory to peach blush. Ever so gracefully, the marine green of the singular main border becomes much more cerulean, orchestrated with finesse by a weaving artist and colorist of exceptional skill. The pattern captures the essence of a garden of corals in a shallow sea. Its extremely good pile assures that every inventive nuance can be fully explored.
