("New Arrivals Gallery") This serotinal Isfahan rug portrays the revered ‘Garden of Paradise’, offering an immersive, idealized depiction of an enchanting natural world. It hosts an array of burgeoning floral species ascending heavenward, creating secondary symmetrical patterns through their premeditated arrangements. The small mounds at the bottom resemble a marbled book cover, while softly outlined plants sprouting above allude to their distance from the foreground. Earthy, expertly dyed colors including cobalt, teal, bronze, ice blue, effulgent carnelian, rich shades of mulberry, and exquisite wisps of rare paled lavender effuse their way through each carefully shaded bough, flower, and frond, sensitively layered for depth and realism. Crisp flowing lines of the motifs reflect an ultra-fine weave. It has a wonderfully heavier pile and extremely fine knotting. Its compelling aesthetic would harmonize with a range of decorative schemes.
