Commanding rapt attention for its rare imagery, this exceptionally intriguing Hadji Jallili Tabriz offers tremendous refinement and fluid articulation of an esoteric design. Beneath a scalloped archway supported by twin blossom-adorned columns hangs a multi-tiered chandelier illuminating the way to fortune and wisdom for those intrepid enough to enter. Singular serpentine dragons curl around both columns, bringing an unexpected East Asian influence. Nearby two golden cypress trees are engaged with the innermost border. A coppery reserve is rippled by delicate striations reminiscent of eons-old sandstone. An ethereal abrash streak boldly transits the entire width just above the column bases, a creative impulse that further elevates this spellbinding piece away from the ordinary. At first, the border appears to be a floral melange, but numerous birds are revealed upon closer inspection.
