Relatively tiny florets float in the mocha-hued field surrounding the main design, along with diamonds and globus cruciger forms. People are also depicted in this rug, perhaps representing the friends and neighbors of the weaver themselves, or simply serving as a reminder that human beings are also a part of the natural universe.
