Its evocative, continually changing allover pattern, crisp clarity and light toned, harmonious tropically hued palette is of great interest to established aficionados. The highly inventive design consists of inset vase motifs, palmettes, angular vinery and striking diagonal leaves in an entirely unexpected range of evocative color tones. There is continual slight variation of individual motifs, creating a compelling sense of depth and movement while allowing for unique nuances in line and hue. As well as being deeply inspired artistically, it demonstrates superlative craftsmanship and extremely tight knotting that is very seldom encountered in the Ferahan style.
