(High-Collectible) ("New Arrivals Gallery") One-in-world, this striking mat-sized Caucasian wunderkind presents a unique visual format of gargantuan abstracted flowerheads. Their curious hooked appendages likely represent the infused energy of the Celestial Dragon, a motif eagerly employed by tribal weavers adopted from Far Eastern contacts along the Silk Routes. Stars of Wisdom and the tiniest Wheels of Life share a symbolic realm with four animals, perhaps from totemic legend. Part of this fascinating pattern begins to drift out of view, alluding to its cosmically infinite expanse in all directions. A brilliantly understated carnation vine border (note where two flowers have "escaped" into the field) with two guard stripes is the perfect diametric foil, allowing the fascinating central composition to visually excel. Happily, this fabulous little woven jewel remains in heavier pile with complete ends.
