(Connoisseur-Caliber)
Energetic and crisply drawn, this fabulously preserved piece testifies to the mastery of artistic expression and resplendent dyes that the best Shishboluki tribal weavings attained. Large conjoined medallions anchor the creative smorgasbord with instantly recognizable, free-spirited inner "hearth irons" that evoke a nomadic campfire and have come to represent the emblematic standard of the Qashqai people. With no interest in concealment on the cream-toned field, three sacred long-necked Murghi (fowl motif) in glowing vermilion bow in an eternally courteous pose. This piece is rife with spontaneity where wonderful archetypal forms abound with a thrilling joie de vivre expressed through tiny avian forms, mask-like blossoms, cyclopean trees, serrated leaves, and an enchanting assortment of esoteric geometry.
