(High-Decorative) This visually stunning over 10x13 antique high-mountain carpet activates one's senses with its artists' stylized interpretation of botanical themes, celebrative robust tribal colors, and rustic, geometric style of drawing. A harmoniously juxtaposed palette of masterfully brewed carnelian, dusky rose, bronze, and jade evokes a deeply joyous response in the viewer. The border features a melodic, interlocking vine and blossom design that is an offshoot of the Shah Abbas design from the Persian City tradition. Its kaleidoscopic, orderly medallion features an inviting coral centerpiece framed by eye-catching cornerpieces of burnished gold adorned with wonderfully depicted floral motifs. This first-rate antique Heriz has been preserved in heavy-pile condition at 110 years of age.
