Claremont Rug Company is pleased to present our newest addition to the Featured Arrivals collection, a vibrant Karaja carpet. Ever-popular among Claremont clients, the distinctive pattern of the rugs from the Northwest Persian village of Karaja is a center sunburst medallion vertically flanked by cruciform shields. In this exemplary, over century-old representative, this traditional format is boldly defined by deeply saturated hues of forest green and rich teal sparkling against a midnight blue field. The robust design is wonderfully counterbalanced by the relative delicacy and freeform quality of the unique blossom and serrated leaf border that surrounds it.
