Multiple Antique Rug Types and Sizes Harmonize and Enliven this Inviting Space
We find that many of our clients, who are often by default great lovers of the life-enhancing artistry offered by antique Oriental rugs, have taken to decorating their cherished spaces with multiple eclectic yet harmonious pieces of varying types and sizes to fill the floor spaces around existing furnishings. Here, we see a conversation between Persian, Turkish, and Caucasian tribal and village rugs; the language is mutually intelligible! Even the way the varied dimensions interlock with each other is fabulous, still showing much of the beautiful oak flooring. Not only are the patterns cohesive and play the parts of a symphonic whole, but these clients’ keen sense of color coordination successfully melds furniture, books, and other objects into the melodious chorus of the room.
