We at Claremont have responded quickly to provide for the safety of our staff and visitors during this challenging time. We are responsibly keeping our facilities sanitized, our staff masked and socially distanced. We invite you to visit our gracious galleries by private appointment.
We have also enhanced our operations to ensure the same seamless service you have come to expect throughout our in-home shopping and installations.
Because the great majority of our business is absentee, we have increased our availability to clients by phone from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday. We will also respond to emails and voicemails on Sundays.
We have enhanced our ability to ship rugs on approval expeditiously to meet our customers’ needs, and are shipping rugs on approval at no charge during this period.
We are continuing to make advantageous purchases to keep our selection fresh and unparalleled.
In periods of challenge, art-level antique Oriental rugs greatly elevate our spirits and support thoughts of resilience and renewal. Since the very start of the Covid-19 period, along with sharing many new rug acquisitions online, we have had a weekly email program of illustrated material from lectures and articles I have contributed to. Topics include the emotive power of balanced color in the best antique rugs, how weavers used uplifting ancient symbolism in their carpets, and the inspiring role of harmonious art in our lives.
